The 2009 Congress of the European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) will take place
in Amsterdam from 13 - 16 June 2009.
The preparations for an appropriately exciting scientific programme are well
under way: we shall have outstanding European and International keynote speakers
as well as many symposia, which will be organised together with the major
European Sub-specialty Societies and Supranational Organisations.
We have secured the use of the RAI International Exhibition and Congress Centre,
which is one of Europe’s leading congress centres, ideally suited to accommodate
congresses of this size. Located in close proximity of Amsterdam’s lovely city
centre, the venue is not only ideal for our scientific sessions, but it also has
plenty of space and up to date facilities for a large commercial exhibition.
Amsterdam is easily accessible not just within Europe, but also from anywhere in
the world. We are planning a full programme of internationally-prominent speakers
and an exciting social programme which will showcase the beautiful city of
Amsterdam and its surroundings.
