The Opening Ceremony will be held at the RAI
International Exhibition and Congress Centre.
We are pleased to invite you to a performance of two of
the Netherlands most outstanding young musicians.
At the Opening Ceremony the Charamis Medal will be
awarded to Mr Richard Collin.
Lucas Jussen (15) Arthur Jussen (11) both started to play piano when they
were 5 years old. Already three years later they both started to win first
prizes at prestigious piano competitions.
The Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant wrote:
“The two little Jussen brothers are, if we are to believe Pires, the most gifted
pianists in the world”.
Pires stands for the legendary Portuguese pianist Maria João Pires, who has been
their teacher now for quite some time, and who, according to the Volkskrant,
“will give back to the Netherlands two masterpianists”.
The Jussen boys are frequently invited to play with the best Dutch orchestra’s.
In the season 2009-10 they will make their first appearance with the Dallas
Symphony Orchestra. The two young pianists will surprise us with their latest repertoire.
Programme is still to be decided.

Congress Evening
Date: Monday, 15 June
Time: 19.30
Price: 95 Euro
The Congress Evening will be held at the Beurs van Berlage,
Amsterdam’s former stock exchange which is situated in the
centre of Amsterdam. The building is considered as the start
of modern architecture in the Netherlands and one of 1000
most important architectural monuments in the world. It
is the perfect location to get together and chat with friends
and colleagues from around the world. The evening will
start with a drink followed by dinner and dancing.
Please note that seats are limited, so advance registration
is highly recommended.
